Does SociableKIT's free plan update by itself?

No. SociableKIT's own pricing page says paid plans sync automatically, and free users "can request a manual refresh". Its help page explains how: open the widget, press "Request sync", and the refresh is processed within 48 hours. You can ask once every 24 hours. So a free SociableKIT feed shows what was there at your last request until you press the button again.

Embedra's free plan has no button because it does not need one. Your Instagram, Facebook or TikTok feed, or your Google reviews, refresh every day by themselves.

Which is cheaper for more than one platform?

Embedra, from the second source on. SociableKIT prices by source, one platform plus one account: Pro is $10 a month for one, and each extra source is $5 a month. Google reviews, Instagram and Facebook together come to $20 a month.

Embedra's $7 Starter plan takes any three widgets of any type, with 15,000 views a month and no badge. For a single source, SociableKIT's $10 buys unlimited views, which Embedra's $7 does not.

Which free plan gives more views?

SociableKIT's, on paper: 2,000 a month against Embedra's 500. The two count differently. SociableKIT counts every time a widget loads. Embedra counts one visitor per widget in any 30-minute window, so a visitor who reads ten pages in that time counts once. Which comes out ahead depends on how your visitors browse; if you expect well over 500 visitors a month, either tool's free plan is the wrong size.

What happens when I hit the view limit?

Both free plans have a monthly view allowance. What happens when you reach it is different, and on a busy month it decides whether your feed or reviews are still on your site.
